About the event
A very tight trio, Ho'omana features six-string rhythm and slack-key guitars, ukulele and bass. The band is led by Manley Bush (lead & background vocals, 6-string slack-key guitar, and ukulele). Manley was born in Honolulu, HI, raised in Kapa'a, Kaua'i and Waimanalo. His musical talents were self-taught and began at a young age, influenced by the masters of Hawaiian music and Slack-key Guitar, such as Gabby Pahinui and Sons and the Sons of Hawai'i, among others. Manley is also a co-founder of the annual "Aloha Festival" in San Francisco.
The group also features Robert Uncangco on lead & background vocals and 6-string rhythm guitar, and Henry-Hanalei Kalauokalani Lopez on Bass.
